Our Story

 When we met over 7 years ago our connection and relationship triggered a profound experience of awakening, healing, and learning. We began to uncover the journey that has led us to share our personal experiences of growth and remembrance in our music as Power2thePeople. Growing through an intense 3 year mystic shamanism training, which we embarked on and committed to together. We were initiated in to integrative widsom teachings and practices by our teacher Dr. Raven B. Lee (transpersonal, Jungian-based psychotherapist, meditation teacher, shamanic healer, Reiki Master/teacher, certified Energy Psychology clinician, board-certified in clinical hypnotherapy, and author of "Unbinding the Soul".) showed us an interdisciplinary approach of mind/body healing, consciousness studies, beyond organic nutrition, and overall wellness. The integration and continuum of our journey together has awakened a life full of purpose and creativity where we share our passion for music, self realization, and family. We started making music about awakening, unity, and consciousness within the first two weeks of getting to know each other. Inspired by our views and ideas of the world, we merged musically and dived in to our co-creation of songwriting and producing with a sacred vision and intention. Our love for music and each other ignited something so profound in us that we were able to recognize we had been preparing our whole lives for this journey we continue to grow through together. Being first generation latinx people we experienced our individual observations of inequality and the misappropriation of power and money that kept and continues to keep our communities and people in a state of survival and struggle. We recognized these issues are not exclusive to brown and black communities, but are shared by people of various cultures all over the world. It all has become inspiration and motivation for us to authentically express our desire of greater light, truth and balance in our world. To inspire more people to live freely, empowered with knowledge and support of their infinite potential, innate power, and natural connection with the earth and universe that surrounds us.
